GH/GL A2L Series

The GH‑A2L and GL‑A2L Series Low Velocity Evaporators are purpose‑built for applications that require gentle, uniform air distribution. Featuring a two‑way “umbrella” air discharge pattern, these unit coolers help maintain consistent product temperatures with reduced air velocity for improved comfort and performance.

Designed with efficiency, safety, and ease of installation in mind, the GH‑A2L and GL‑A2L Series incorporate variable‑speed motors and integrated A2L‑specific safety components. A clean, ceiling‑flush installation and durable construction make these evaporators well suited for both new builds and retrofit projects where performance, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance are equally important.

Advantages

  • A2Ls are synthetic, mildly flammable refrigerants that meet low GWP regulatory requirements and offer the greatest ease of use for technicians compared to other solutions

  • Two-way air discharge provides smooth air movement, creating low velocity “umbrella” style air distribution
  • Variable speed motors for maximum efficiency
  • Included coil guard(s) provide an additional layer of protection from accidental damage

Key Features

  • Installation is level and flush to the ceiling with internal hangers for a clean appearance and no interference with shelving
  • Coil constructed of heavy-wall copper tube and rippled full collar aluminum fins—optional coil coating available
  • Standard non-metallic fan guards eliminate the possibility of corrosion
  • Factory-wired fans and defrost controls to terminal blocks for convenient field connections
  • Built-in refrigerant leak detection system
  • Includes required ship loose check valve and safety shut-off valve for field installation
  • Regulatory Compliance: DOE/NRCan compliant

Available Options

  • Defrost types: Air, electric, or gas
  • Refrigerants: R-454A or R-454C compatibility
  • Configurations: 1–6 fan models in both low and high profile
